This second floor addition is designed to upgrade the curb appeal while adding a new master suite. Extending the new cape-style roof to create a welcoming porch increased the living space as well. A "morning porch" off the master suite is a perfect place to start the day. Since the street is higher than the house, adding interest at the second floor (eye level from the street) was a critical part of the composition. |
