We will discuss your project with you first, to recommend an amount of time for the design and tell you up front what the design cost will be. Typically we spend 3 to 5 hours at your home. For many projects we include another on-line design session (we use software that let's you see our computer, and control the mouse to point to things when appropriate).

For New Homes you have the option to come to the studio in Portsmouth. We have bigger toys here, and it saves you a little money on design cost if you do the traveling. For some New Homes we still start with a session at the site - some sites are either challenging enough, or have unique opportunities, so that this is important.

The product you receive includes both a PDF file (a computer file of color images) that you can print from your home computer, or at a store, like Kinko's. We can print them for you also if you don't have those options. Those images will look similar to the one shown here. We also send along a printed package, usually on 11x17 paper, which includes the plans, to scale, and scaled elevations or 3D images as appropriate.

The House Call can be used for projects of all sizes. This one was for converting a barn into a Family Room on the lower level and a Master Suite on the upper level.
